Mouse Models Resource

The Mouse Models Resource identifies, maintains, and delivers to Cancer Center members an extensive collection of genetically defined mice. All strains are protected as cryopreserved embryos and sperm; many are readily available as live mice as well.

The Resource also delivers a variety of special services such as genetic expertise, colony maintenance and animal husbandry advice, and information about the available strains of mice. Resource scientists are available to manage mouse-related projects for Center members.

The Mouse Models Resource contains mouse strains carrying spontaneous, induced, and genetically engineered mutations; mice with chromosome aberrations; and special inbred strains and strain panels, including wild derived inbred, congenic, Recombinant Inbred (RI), and consomic strains.
