Eduroam

Eduroam is a secure, worldwide wireless network access service designed for the international research and education community.

It allows JAX employees to have access to a secure network both on campus and at participating institutions globally using their JAX credentials. It also allows visitors from participating institutions to seamlessly connect to the network on a JAX campus with their home institution’s credentials.

How to Connect

To connect to Eduroam, use your home institution credentials.

JAX workforce members (anyone with a JAX email address)

*Note: JAX-owned devices should connect to the Campus Wi-Fi, not Eduroam.

  1. On your device, go to Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Select the Eduroam network.
  3. When prompted, enter:
    1. Username: Your full jax.org email address
    2. Password: Your JAX password

You have connected to Eduroam and have access to secure Wi-Fi.

For members of another participating institution visiting JAX:

  1. On your device, go to Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Select the Eduroam network.
  3. When prompted, enter:
    1. Username: Your institutional email address
      ex. [email protected]
    2. Password: Your institutional email password

You have connected to Eduroam and can access the internet while on a JAX campus.

*Note: JAX guests that are not associated with a participating institution should connect to the JAX Guest network.
